These terms cover using ward.so, creating an account, submitting work and installing components from the Ward registry. By using Ward you agree to them. How Ward handles personal data is in the privacy policy.

  1. 01What Ward is

    Ward curates design, websites, apps and components made by other people and links to their sources. Featured work belongs to its creators. Credit and links are part of every item; a listing is not an endorsement by the creator.

  2. 02Your account

    You sign in with Google, GitHub or X. Keep that account secure, since anyone with access to it can use your Ward account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

  3. 03Work you submit

    Only submit work you made or have permission to share, and credit it accurately. Submissions are reviewed before anything is published, and Ward may edit titles, descriptions and categories, or decline to publish.

    When you submit, you allow Ward to store, process, resize, describe and display that work on Ward and in the weekly email, with credit to its creator. You keep ownership. Ask at hey@ward.so and Ward will remove published work you submitted.

  4. 04Removal and credit requests

    If your work appears on Ward and you want the credit changed or the item removed, email hey@ward.so with a link to it. Ward hides disputed items while it looks into the request.

  5. 05Components and code

    Components in the Ward registry, installed with the shadcn CLI or copied from Build pages, are provided under the licence shown with each component, including any upstream notices. Check that licence before shipping them in your product.

  6. 06Acceptable use

    • Don't scrape Ward in bulk, overload it, or work around its rate limits.
    • Don't submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive or harmful material.
    • Don't try to access other members' private saves, collections or submissions.

  7. 07No warranty

    Ward is provided as it is. Links, third-party sites and installed code can change or break, and Ward is not responsible for them. To the extent the law allows, Ward is not liable for indirect losses arising from using the site or its components.

  8. 08Changes

    Ward may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and material changes are announced on this page before they apply.
