Changelog
What changed in each version of MiniPDF.
MiniPDF on Linux
- LinuxMiniPDF is on Linux, as a Flatpak for x86_64 or a tarball for x86_64 and ARM.
- MacNothing new on the Mac. MiniPDF offers this version as an update, and it's safe to skip.
Updates from inside the app, and shorter licence keys
- MacMiniPDF updates itself. It asks before it checks on its own, and Check for Updates is in the MiniPDF menu.
- Licence keys are 16 characters, like K7PX-9M4D-R2TN-6W8F.
- Your key is checked with ward.so when you enter it and about once a day after that. MiniPDF keeps working offline for 30 days between checks.
- MacOn 0.2.0? Download this version once by hand. From here on, MiniPDF updates itself.
The first release, for the Mac
- MacDrop PDFs on the window, or right-click them in Finder, and a smaller copy appears next to each one.
- Three sizes, Smallest, Balanced and Sharpest, or Custom for your own resolution and quality.
- Your original is never changed. A copy is kept only if it opens, has every page and is at least 5% smaller.
- Signed and encrypted PDFs are skipped, so a signature is never broken.
- Everything happens on your computer, offline. Nothing is uploaded.
- Free for three PDFs a day, or $9.99 once for unlimited use, unlocked in one click from the email with your key.
